Payment Plan

Payments & Financial Terms

At A&H ONE DESIGNS, we operate a transparent, structured payment system designed to protect project quality, ensure continuity of service, and maintain fair outcomes for both parties.

All projects, services, and products are subject to the payment terms outlined below unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We currently accept the following payment methods:

  • Bank Transfer (BACS / Faster Payments) – Preferred method

  • Credit & Debit Cards – Subject to processing fees where applicable

All payments must be made in GBP (£).

2. Payment Structure by Revenue Stream

To reflect best practice across bespoke carpentry, interior design, renovation, and professional consultancy services, we apply tiered payment structures based on project type, risk profile, and delivery timeline.

A. Property Renovation & Development Projects

(Typical value: £10,000 – £250,000)

Initial Deposit: 60–70% due upon acceptance of quotation and prior to mobilisation

Stage Payments: Agreed milestones based on scope (e.g. structural works, first fix, second fix, installation)

Final Balance: Remaining balance due prior to handover or completion

No work will commence, nor materials ordered, until the initial deposit has cleared.

B. Bespoke Carpentry & Joinery Projects

(Typical value: £5,000 – £25,000)

Design & Production Deposit: 60–70% due at order confirmation

Installation / Completion Payment: Balance due before installation or upon completion, whichever occurs first

This structure reflects the custom, non-resalable nature of bespoke furniture and joinery.

C. Interior Design Services

(Fixed-fee, phased, or retained services)

Upfront Retainer: 60–70% due prior to commencement

Payment: Balance due upon delivery of the agreed design stage or final package

Design work, drawings, specifications, and documentation remain the intellectual property of A&H ONE DESIGNS until full payment is received.

D. Digital Consultations & Professional Advisory

(£500 – £2,000 per session)

100% payment is required upfront

Sessions are scheduled only after payment confirmation

E. Subscription Services

(£500 – £5,000 per client)

Monthly subscriptions: Paid in advance

Quarterly or annual plans: Paid upfront unless otherwise agreed

Failure to pay may result in immediate suspension of services.

F. Free-Standing Furniture Products

Standard pieces: 100% payment upfront

Made-to-order pieces: 60–70% deposit, balance due prior to dispatch or delivery

3. Invoicing & Payment Timing

  • All invoices are due upon receipt, unless a specific due date is stated

  • Payment schedules will be clearly outlined in your proposal or contract

  • Work may be paused if payments fall overdue

4. Late Payment Policy (UK-Compliant)

We adhere to the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, as amended.

Grace Period

  • A 7-day grace period applies from the invoice due date

Late Payment Fees

  • After the grace period, a late payment fee of 5% of the outstanding balance will be applied

  • Minimum late fee: £25

Statutory Interest

  • Interest will accrue at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily

  • Interest continues until full payment is received

Administrative Recovery

  • Reasonable recovery costs may be charged where payment delays require additional administrative or legal action

5. Suspension of Services

If payment terms are breached:

  • Work may be paused or rescheduled

  • Delivery, installation, or handover may be withheld

  • Materials, designs, or documentation may remain unpaid assets until settlement

This protects project integrity and ensures fairness across all active clients.

6. Variations & Additional Works

Any work outside the agreed scope:

  • Will be quoted separately

  • Requires written approval

  • May require additional upfront payment

7. Agreement to Terms

By accepting a quotation, proposal, or invoice from A&H ONE DESIGNS, you confirm that you:

  • Understand and accept these payment terms

  • Acknowledge the staged payment structure

  • Agree to the late payment and suspension policies
